YES ... another "Geddings Original" for your viewing pleasure. This acrylic painting represents Riley's FIFTH in his new venture into the world of acrylics, and yet again he has chosen another typical Everglades (or "GLADES") scene.

We once more have a quiet, tranquil, wilderness area of The Florida Everglades seldom seen by man. The artist has again captured on canvas this authentic Florida scene of a quiet haven which the wild birds call home. Lovers of wildlife will appreciate the presence of the two Great White Herons standing in the water, engaged in their daily task of fishing - whilst overhead one sees two more Herons flying in to claim their very own fishing holes. This scene casts its subtle reflections in the waters below.

In the sky above can be seen Riley's "hallmark" - the ever-present inquisitive seagull observing this whole scene - whilst in the background one can see a distant "snag" (a dead Southern Pine Tree) which is about to become the future nesting site for the hovering Osprey. Tall, majestic Cabbage Palms are in abundance as they reach for the heavens from the typical bushy foliage below. A few puffy clouds dot the Florida sky as this day progresses.
